平成10年より、慶應義塾大学腎臓研究室において、「慢性腎不全における内皮機能障害の出現機序においてADMAやDDAHの関連を検討する研究」を開始した。
本研究に関しては、第43・46回日本腎臓学会総会（2000年名古屋， 2003年東京），第24回日本高血圧学会総会（2001年大阪），
18th Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension(Chicago, 2000)，33th・35th Annual Meeting and Scientific Exposition of American Society of Nephrology
(Tront 2000, Philadelphia 2002) ，The 2003 ISN World Congress of Nephrology (Berlin,2003)において発表した．
本研究に関し、2004年9月、東京高血圧研究会にて若手研究優秀賞を受賞した。
「腎不全における総頚動脈とIMTの関連」において、第4回日本心血管内分泌学会（大阪、2000年）において発表した。
「慢性腎不全犬腎間質におけるAngII産生経路の検討」の演題で、キマーゼなどを介した非ACE経路の役割について
第44回日本腎臓学会総会(東京、2001年)で発表（口演）した（本研究においては、科学研究費補助金による助成を受けている）。
